7. Kelly/Blair
8. Ryles
9. Kostjaysn
10. Norrie (if fit)
11. Hinchliffe
12. Hoffman (c)
13. Lowrie

Thoughts?

Pretty close to where i'd go but would have Quinny in before Waqa, that said to be fair and honest i'm not sure how Sisa has been traveling in the seconds so if his form warrants a spot i'd be happy having him in with Quinny coming from the bench. With any luck we'll have either Sika or Kev (or both) fit for next week which would be a massive boost. Still a more than capable side of beating the Tigpies i reckon given they'll be missing Farah as well. Obviously Benji is the key and they've been in some good form of late but if the great man can come up with a game plan of minimizing his effectiveness we've got a good show.

No player deserves anything imho.

Places in the team are earnt by consistency of performance, strength of commitment to team ethics and convincing Mr Bellamy that a place in the team is actually warranted and deserved.

As soon as Melbourne Storm start giving charity games to players....well...that is a very slippery slope to be on.

If Kelly has played himself into a starting 13 position...then he'll get it.

Hmmm. I am sure I heard/read somewhere that Luke Kelly wasn't part of our roster anymore. I know he's playing for Easts Tigers in the Qld Cup, but obv he's contracted to them & not us exclusively now? Id like to see Kostjasyn get the #7 next week & see Gareth take a big step up with the Three Amigos out because of SOO duty. Then again, depends on what the g-o is with Bobby Blair too I guess.

Hope we have some forwards back too. We're goin to need em after watchin the Tigers of late...

As far as I was aware, Kelly is still with us, but if he's not, another option might be Hampton.
