I thought i'd start the thread now just to get some discussion for next weeks team seeing how we have manu out ( according to the hearld his sidelined up to 8 weeks) quinn may miss a game with that high takcle and oneil should be back from injury..

Team i think we'll see next week:

1. billy slater
2. matt duffie
3. neilson
4. oneil/chambers
5. quinn/oneil ( if quinn is suspended then oneil might play wing if fit)
6. gareth widdop
7. cooper cronk
8. jesse bromwich
9. cameron smith
10. bryan norrie
11.kevin proctor
12. ryan hoffman
13. ryan hinchcliffe/lowrie

14. ryan hinchcliffe/lowrie
15.tohu harris/garbutt/kostjayson
16. siosaia vave
17. jason ryles

I think with manu out we need to replace him with another big forward that gains good metres, so i would like to see tohu or garbutt get a go?
Cowboys have a big pack so it will be a challange up front think.

I'd love to see young Kenny or Tohu get a crack this week, but I think Garbutt is primed to make his Storm debut from the bench. I hope they don't go back to Lowe, nor do I think Rory should replace Sika as we would be robbing ourselves of too much size off the bench.

O'Neill for Quinn is logical if suspended. Waqa if Justin's not 100%.

On the back of poor defense in the 2nd half last week, I wager we'll come unstuck and lose this game. Cowboys @ DFS is one of the hardest roadtrips in the league. Right up there with Storm @ AAMI.

I wondered where Tohu went i only saw him for like 20 mins then he disappeared

Quinny will be out for a week for that high shot so they should bring in juzzy or sisa

Best team IMO for this week would be:
1. Slater
2. Duffie
3. Nielsen
4. Chambers
5. Quinn (only if he gets off his judiciary charge from the weekend, otherwise O'Neill (if fit to play)/Waqa (I hope not, but if no other player is able to come on to the wing, he'll have to play)
6. Widdop
7. Cronk
8. Bromwich
9. Smith (C)
10. Norrie
11. Proctor (most likely to replace Manu in the starting line-up for the next six weeks)
12. Hoffman
13. Lowrie

14. Hinchcliffe
15. Garbutt (if he is to play, this will be a massive bench)
16. Vave
17. Ryles

18. Kostjasyn (always handy as 18th man if there is a late change)

the 4 props we have atm are capable of playing good minutes, so i would say hinchy lock, with lowrie, vave, ryles and kostjaysn on the pine

Anthony Quinn has been charged twice by NRL review panel, set to miss 1 week.

Parramatta's Reni Maitua and Melbourne's Anthony Quinn will not miss matches after being sanctioned for careless tackle charges.
Quinn was put on report twice for challenges on Newcastle's Junior Sau, but the charges do not carry enough points to warrant a suspension.

hmm.. Intresting too see if oneil is in the squad? He's due back from injury this week, with quinn not being suspended and chambers has been pretty good and solid in his last two matches. He'd go straight back in though you'd think.
