Blair getting more votes than Kimmorley or White is surprising too and I'm surprised that Sika Manu makes the bench, an excellent player, but, ahead of Howe who won 2 B&Fs or Hinchcliffe who somehow missed the final cut, I don't think so.

Geyer should be on the wing instead of Folau and Hill should be 5/8

Probably wouldn't have Crocker ahead of so many either.

The thing in Crocker's favour is his win % of over 90

But only 44 games.

Glenn Turner, Jake Webster, Kirk Reynoldson, Tasesa Lavea, Bryan Norrie are some of the names of players who played more for the Storm than him.

Personally there should have been a minimum amount of games or years at the club. Lazarus did alot for the club but he only had 2 average years with us compared to other years elsewhere. Nikau and Folau both great players but 2 years not enough. Howe should have been in the team and White is unlucky. I also think because Slater is so good at fullback they forget how good Robbie Ross was for us. Same goes for Swain. Both should have got more votes. I just hope when it comes to Storm's best team for 25 years we don't see Lazarus, Nikau or Folau's name.

I agree to an extent. I had Swainy on my bench he played our first 100 plus games he was so durable and a very good hooker. I didn't include Folau I thought there were other quality backs in the team that could make the grade that served us for longer. I had Lazo and Nikau in my team because despite only being there for 2 years helped set the culture of the team.

A better idea for the 20 year team in 2017 would be to have players over 100 games only. It should have been like this for this year's 15 year team. There were also far too many players thrown up in the air to gain a spot in the team and the bench was far too big.

This is what the team should have looked like had it just been restricted to players in the 100 club for the Storm (I would have had Quinny in the team if I did this in a few weeks time as he is currently on 92 games so he was unlucky to miss out):

1. Billy Slater (2003-12 - 214 games)*
2. Matt Geyer (1998-2008 - 262 games)
3. Steven Bell (2001-05 - 107 games)
4. Greg Inglis (2005-10 - 117 games)
5. Marcus Bai (1998-2003 - 144 games)
6. Scott Hill (1998-2006 - 177 games)
7. Cooper Cronk (2004-12 - 195 games)*
8. Robbie Kearns (1998-2005 - 169 games)
9. Cam Smith (C) (2002-12 - 224 games)*
10. Rodney Howe (1998-2004 - 106 games)
11. Ryan Hoffman (2003-10, 2012 - 180 games)*
12. Stephen Kearney (1999-2004 - 139 games)
13. Dallas Johnson (2003-09 - 157 games)

14. Danny Williams (1998-2004 - 146 games)
15. David Kidwell (2003-06 - 103 games)
16. Adam Blair (2006-11 - 121 games)
17. Brett White (2005-10 - 127 games)

Coach - Craig Bellamy

I like that idea for the next one.

23 current 100 gamers:

Geyer 262
Cam Smith 224*
Slater 214*
Cronk 195*
Hoffman 181*
Hill 177
Kearns 169
Johnson 157
Williams 146
Bai 144
Kearney 139
Swain 132
White 127
Blair 121
Orford 120
Inglis 117
Steven Bell 107
Howe 106
Steve Turner 105
Moule 104
Kidwell 103
Bawden 101
Rua 101

Plus these players are currently signed and likely to get there given the lengths of their contracts:

Quinn 92 (2012)
Hinhcliffe 85 (2013)
Proctor 67 (2014)
Chambers 50 (2014)

And if Duffie, O'Niell, Manu and Widdop extend their stays with us they could well be there too.
Bromwich 40 (2015)
