Is Cooper Cronk overrated?

Just wanted to get your thoughts on this.
To me Cronk is a little overrated. Not exactly in "star" class. Wouldn't really matter too much if he signed with another club.

Underrated. I really think a lot of Storm fans don't appreciate just how great Cronk truly is. He may not be outstanding at one particular aspect, but he's good at every single skill. He's got great leadership qualities and above all else, he has the intelligence that In my opinion places him as one of the Best students of the game. Believe it or not, he could be on the Storm coaching staff once His playing career ends.

Cronk is not overrated, it took him four years of being our first choice halfback to even make the bench of the QLD team. Remember 2008 when 10 Storm players were selected for both NSW and QLD, Cronk could have been the 11th player selected that year but was overlooked. He finally gets the opportunity to play halfback for QLD this year only because Locky has retired.
In saying this though, he is definitely not worth the amount of money that is being offered to him by other clubs and even the Storm for that matter. Even though he is part of the Big 3, Billy and Cam are still and will always be better players than him.

If he's been offered $550k a year as has been reported then i think he's worth it. Quality half backs don't grow on tress so when you find one i dont think that sort of money is unreasonable especially with the cap going up next year. Play makers are where the majority of money goes and rightly so.
Along with Cammy I think Coops is the brainstrust of the team on game day.How many games has Coops helped to win for us.His partnership with Billy is amazing.
