GI seems to be very injury prone and I think he's still carrying that groin injury, which is probably OP.
Still sad at what has transpired and I guess he will be remembered as one of our greats.

I dont know whos got the nod yet but its a tough decision. he could go with widdop as he hasnt seen him at 6 yet and it would be the least amount of disruption to the nsw cup team who need a win.1999 wrote: gutted. no more finchy...
Will be interesting to see if kelly or widdop get the nod. My bet whoever craig goes with this week will be the 5/8 come rd 1 next year.
Luke would be the safer choice though in a game craig will desperately want to win.

Meanwhile, Luke Kelly will continue his audition for Finch's No. 6 jersey next year when he replaces the injured five-eighth in tomorrow's game.
Finch has been ruled out because a badly cut hand, which he suffered three weeks ago against South Sydney, had not healed.
Kelly, who usually plays half-back, will be in a three-way battle with Gareth Widdop and Rory Kostjasyn for the five-eighth role next year.
''Luke's done a great job the last two weeks, so we'll just keep a bit of continuity there,'' Storm football operations manager Frank Ponissi said.
