Chances of watching the game anywhere other than live or at All Star have taken a big dive. Imparja, the station some venues get the feed from, is not showing the Rugby League games until 10:30pm, since they have the live coverage of AFL final.

This means the only venues who will get live feeds of the game will be those who can scrounge a feed from Channel Nein.

Unless of course they decide to favour us and show it live into Melbourne.

But I must be dreaming... If only there was an election coming up with pollies desparate to take on a challenge to get more votes! ;)

So whats nines excuse this time, channel 10 has the rights to the AFL finals.. so surely channel 9 could show us the storm game live!!!?!?!! what will they show instead.. burkes backyard???? this is the perfect opportunity for melbournians to watch some league, given the storm game will start an hour before the AFL.. :roll:

You're all wrong - we've got nothing but quality TV viewing all next Saturday night until 11.40pm when they eventually show the league.

At 6.30pm, Australia's Funniest Home Video Show. An hour of side-splitting laughs. Then at 7.30pm a blockbuster screening of The Wedding Singer (3 stars), followed at 9.30pm by a premiere of Muriel's Wedding (4 stars). I can't wait.

Then according to the TV guide we get the Second Qualifying final (11.40pm) and I can't see where the Third final is being shown at all (the guide only goes until US Open Tennis after the footy at 2.00am. Lucky we finished 6th or we might not have got Storm shown at all!!!

Memo to Ch9 - no matter what crap you show at midnight, you're not going to get ratings!!!!

Bulldogs vs Cowboys final not being shown in Melbourne until Sunday night 12:40am, followed by the Roosters vs Eels final at about 2:30am!!!

What a flaming joke.

So is it on at the Casino or All Star live?? I'm still working on flights to Brisbane, so not sure yet whether I can afford to go as I'm already booked for Sydney the second week of finals. If I can get there and back for $300 or under... I'm there. Not looking flash at the moment though. Don't really want to fly jetstar, although then I can go, so I don't know :?

No finger crossing here. Flight booked? Check. Accommodation booked? Check. Ticket bought? Check!!!

My first time to Brisbane and why will I be there? The best reason of all, a Rugby League match.

Enjoy the game, got junior grand finals Saturday & senior semis Sunday, so won't be going anywhere.

Hoping for the Storm to go all the way then will travel up for sure.
