Our coaching staff, headed by Craig Bellamy, and playing staff, led by Cameron Smith, are determined that every time they walk out to play, wearing the purple colours, they will continue to perform at the highest level that is demanded of them.
“They make this commitment for not only today, not only for this week, but for every time they represent their Melbourne Storm.
“The character and the decency that exists within this football club can never be eliminated and that same level of support that exists within is also quite evidently exhibited by our members and supporters.
“We again ask our support base to stand tall with us as we commence this new journey into a new future that will prove to be even more successful than our past.”
....sounds like Bellyache and Cam are proud, purple and paid up. Hopefully other players follow this lead.
