Bellamy doesnt like his centers and wingers going in field too much, especailly Inglis. He wants him/them wide to keep the structure of the team in tact.
Hence why you'll see Inglis alot of the time standing out on the wing.

Start was a bit scratchy but thats expected. The game was good...i thought our attacked improved as soon as cam went to hooker. GI was quite but he didnt get much ball at all...he had a couple of nice touches....but hey its only a trial.
Tolman, macdougal and nielson were my stand outs. Oh and Blair needs to cut out the crap from his ame ...seriously.

G I - NOT really conditions for speed - step or fend Elland Rd was cold, slippery, windy & wet,(I'm guessing you've never experienced Yorkshire weather nacho ? )
Blair - A bit of excess, but Leeds get rattled by that. It's what THEY normally use against other teams.

Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields
Got it locked in the foxtel planner for 7.30. So i won't comment until i watch that.
Great win though, i really didn't expect us to win, always so much against the Aus teams when they head over every year. The boys looked pumped as after the game aswell, good to see.
On a less important not the jerseys are looking the goods

What was Adam Blair doing constantly trying to give away penalties? You could see Jeff was a bit rusty aswell dropping the ball a few times but like msot of you have said overall we were solid.
I do hope we've learnt to never play Cameron in the 7 role again though, it doesn't work.

It's not plan A - clearly that is Cam at 9, but a Man of the Match performance from a bloke out of position, and a WCC win probably show it's not a disgraceful plan B

Hinchcliffe was good, one of the better games i've seen from him, looked like he was out to prove what he can do in extended minutes.
In the backs i thought Nielson and Macdougall who i was not massive on signing looked comfortable. I like this backline while Chase is out. It really wasn't a game for the backs to carve up so i dunno why we would be critical of Inglis in particular. It was a tough, grinding, defencive game. The magic of Slater and Inglis was not required.

Inglis traditionally takes a couple of weeks to get going I reckon and he's always been prone to a quiet game. Who cares though, we won and just by being out there Inglis took a lot of Leeds' defensive focus off the other players.
