.So for them who was wanting to watch Gone with the Wind tough crap.

Not a bad (ratings) idea from Nien.
Normally there is a sporting vaccum for every other supporter other than the winner of the gALF GF.
Might be a chance to win over some more dissafected gAFL supporters.

This will hit crowd numbers though... instead of getting the people to the game that would be looking for something to do after the other game, more will stay home and watch it on TV now.
Then watch the AFL/9/media say how much we got beat up on by the AFL GF

No matter how much the Storm / NRL talk it up we are never gonna get a good crowd at Edihad after the AFL GF.
(At least we have an excuse though
)

I disagree - I could see potential walk-ups as it's a void of things to do after the AFL grand final. Putting it on live takes that void and fills it without people having to leave their loungerooms

We'll get a crowd in excess of 30K regardless of it being live and in competition with the AFL. Our supporters are staunch and loyal. Will still play to a reasonable crowd!

Whats this Ch9. I cant get it on pay TV. Is it a channel worth watching. Sorry but I live in MElb and have never known of this channel. do you need a dish to receive it?? Maybe its not worth watching.
