Storm have finally provided the specifics of the supporters march for our last regular season home game:
On Saturday, August 29th, the Purple Mile will take place, giving members and fans the opportunity to show Melbourne what magnificent support the club gets from their supporters.

Meeting at Federation Square’s Transport Bar from 3.30pm, the mass of Melbourne Storm fans will make their way to Olympic Park at 4.15pm, creating a sea of purple to show everyone on the way the passionate following the mighty Melbourne Storm has.

There are many wonderful memories that every member will carry with them for the rest of their lives from their experiences at "The Graveyard".

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to create a few more before we move into our new home in 2010. If you let this opportunity pass, you may regret it.

WHAT: The Purple Mile
WHERE: Federation Square to Olympic Park
WHEN: Saturday, August 29th
ARRIVE AT FED SQUARE: 3.30pm
DEPART FROM OLYMPIC PARK: 4.15pm
I presume the last bit is meant to be the time for departing Fed Square rather than OP.

I'm positive the Storm would've informed Russell Gould, the Herald Sun rugby league writer and I presume The Age's writer, Stathi Paxinos, still frequents this board.

It's been sung every home game this year in the Bai Stand nacho.
Just because you don't hear it, don't mean it aint around.  :P

A few questions:

Who organised the march?

Why meet 45 minutes before departing Fed Square?

Where was the media?

Was anyone from the club there?

Why was the march scheduled so we arrived at OP 20 minutes before gates opened?
