Interesting game.

Wondering what we are going to dish out after a great performance last week....we've hardly been consistantly good this season.

damn saturday night games  :x

I doubt they'll be complacent, but I am hoping there's still a lot of support & goodwill for Storm in the West.

Provided the boys have enough of a break after Friday's game (which they should with an 8-day break) then I think they should back up fine.

Hopefully the boys won't feel complacent, because the hard work has only just begun

Fingers crossed Tomane keeps his spot (especially with Quinn coming back into the side), and has another blinder!

ok going by my logic

cowboys beat souths by 34 points

and we beat the cowboys by 14 points

therefore we should win by 48 points, yeah im gonna go with that

We have no reason whatsoever to start getting complacent. It was only 1 good win.

We were coming off a big win over the Raiders and went into the doggies game under-done and were complacent in that game.  I honestly dont think we will be...but its always a chance after a big win...if we play to 100% we win this game by plenty.

The boys also played two matches within five days (Canberra on the Monday, Bulldogs on the Saturday) and they certainly looked tired.

Given their 8 day break, they should be much more relaxed and energetic to produce back-to-back white washes :)

Manu is out. :(
Melbourne has been dealt a blow ahead of its Round 14 clash with South Sydney with forward Sika Manu ruled out after developing flu-like symptoms on Tuesday.

Manu has been quarantined for three days in accordance with guidelines established by the Victorian Government.

Manu was injured for the first eight matches of the season, but since his return to the side in Round 9, the Storm have only lost one match to the Bulldogs and won their other three.

No other Melbourne player has displayed similar symptoms and will be on the plane to Perth on Thursday.

"It's important to remember that this is a precautionary move," Storm general manager of football operations Frank Ponissi said.

"We are acting under guidelines provided to us by the Victorian Government. These guidelines are quite different to those in the northern states."

Why ruled out - unless he cant travel?? Should be clear by friday even with 3 day quarantine??

Sika out + bunnies get crocker could be prblems :(

Though we all know we can coun ton the bunnies giving us heaps of points so maybe not..haha..just remebering the minor premiership game from last year. Just target Sandow given he missed so many tackles, no way he could handle Inglis - methinks a Jamie Soward moment could be on lol

Manu is always a loss, but our forwards as a whole pack have really stepped up in the last month or so, so we can cover him ok.  Koopu or Scott Anderson to the bench I assume then?
