Does anyone know anything about Brett White being linked as a possible gain for the Storm. He is a prop on St Georges list. Is he any good? and why would we be looking at signing four Props?

Simple, here are our current props:

Kearns - 32 years old, 1 year left

Howe - gone!

Chan - turns 30 next year, injury and suspension prone

Robinson - also not young, injury prone and better suited to 2nd row

Kaufusi - young but unimpressive

Tanielu - see Kaufusi, is also out of contract and maybe off elsewhere

Reynoldson - make shift prop and is off to Newcastle anyway

We need some depth in this area, therefore look at signing more props. Having said all that I don't know 1 thing about White. The idea is right though.

We're desperately in need of forwards and the reasons have been laid down by Lucas.

According to the dragons website, Brett White is out with an ankle injury until finals time. His profile says he has not played this year.

He hasn't played first grade yet. He had huge wraps on him a couple of years ago, but injury has prolonged his career.

Yay, we need more injury prone props. We could almost have a prop flush!

Injury prone is a requirement for being signed by the Storm. It can work out 2 ways:

Good - Alex Chan (well, except for the whole suspension prone thing. But he's cut down his average on broken arms per year)

Ugly - McFadden. Injury after injury and he just hasn't been the same since.

Actually, McFadden has only stayed in Brisbane cuz we have Orford and Smith for half and hooker and also Nathan Friend. He's been playing quite well there in fact.

I made a mention of some of our injury prone pickups sometime ago. Leyshon: good pickup. Great year he had with the Storm, should've stayed with us that no good mercenary. Lomax: might as well be forgotten. Chan: very good pickup if not for the high tackles.

Actually McFadden has been playing great up north. Watched him in one of the televised games. I guess the door might open for him if Hill is out with the shoulder/back again. Maybe that is the change we need to spark up our performances of late.
