The lineup for Australia's greatest Athlete is as follows;Didgi wrote: I know there is Billy, Steve Hooker and Symonds, but who are the other 5?
Billy Slater - NRL, Melbourne Storm
Brett Deledio - AFL, Richmond Tigers
Steve Hooker - Olympic Gold Medal Pole Vault
Lote Tuqiri - ARU
Andrew Symonds - Cricket
Jamie Whincup - V8 Supercars
Joel Griffiths - Soccer
Ky Hurst - Champion Ironman
Word is the athletes will undertake challenges in the disciplines of golf, cricket, basketball, shooting, and rock climbing, and complete 40-metre sprints, a mini ironman, take soccer penalty shootouts, bench press until they blow up and even attempt dune buggy racing....
Speaking to my inside man, Billy is doing quite well, not winning a lot, but very consistent in top placings giving him a good chance to take it out
HEHE i dont care if he doesnt win (NOT i want him to win bad) i just hope billy isnt out first week cause if he is im not gonna watch it again
SOMEONE'S GOTTA MAKE THE HISTORY BOOKS IT MIGHT AS WELL BE US

your inside man must be a bit off its all been filmed and done all ready if billy has done well and is in the placings then we will find out in a few weeks but its all been done and finished it was done after the world cup

Yeah, I know, unfortunately my man was only involved in the first couple of episodes, so I can't give you a winner..sallymay wrote: your inside man must be a bit off its all been filmed and done all ready if billy has done well and is in the placings then we will find out in a few weeks but its all been done and finished it was done after the world cup

My bet for the winner is Steve Hooker
I thought the ironman would kill it! Some probably already know the winner. Can't see symonds or whincup winning.

Surprising to see Whincup at the Top after episode 1

Why surprising? 3 golf challenges and slogging a cricket ball, hardly a test of athleticism.bula wrote: Symonds killed that Tennis Ball!

Mind you, top class motor racers do tend to be supremely fit anyway and generally have training regimes that are the equal of any other professional sportsman.
