ill finally becoming a member in 09, was wondering when we can expect news re: the packages?

packages will be pretty much the same i recon, just priority to rep games and finals and discount for tickets in NSW all that stuff woud stay the same

I have requested they do this on every members survey I have filled out. I live in country Vic, and can really only get to about half a dozen home games from now on. I would like the club to offer a five-game membership package for country/interstate supporters similar to what Melbourne Victory and my AFL club Richmond do.

im from nsw and i rang and asked them the last 2 years in a row about getting an interstate membership for either 3 or 5 games. but they didnt offer it and didnt seem to be willing to look at it.

yeah the interstate package would be ideal for me. But even if they dont have it ill still join.

The supporters membership looks ok,if you dont want game access.
Still a member and supporting the team,just cant get into a game with it.

I'm expect the prices to rise slightly to help easy the following years expected increase with the new stadium.

The thinking is that a 'big' jump say 15 to 25% (not saying it will be this big) in 2010 wouldn't be swallowed by many members (not fans or supporters...there is a difference)

Seems a BIG membership price increase is expected to happen at the Victory which will have first use of the stadium.

yeah, the club need to manage that issue properly - although I don't think ticket prices will change too much for GA level, it's the premium tickets that may change.  If they go too hard, they'll price themselves out of the market.  Currently it's pretty much on par with other sporting events, so don't want to go above that in what is still very much a developing market

SS remember that the current configuration for the new stadium wont have a standing area so all GA will be seated.

Just had another look at the blue prints and I'd say that GA will be 3rd level for members and ticket sales on the ends.

Yeah, I realise there's no standing, but we're still competing with AFL, and ticket prices for GA at the MCG and TD when avail are only in that ballpark figure anyway.

for anyone intrested the new membership deals are up.

they have brought back the interstate, altho you only get the 2 tickets to away games + membership kit. i think i will go with that one...but want to get the GA altho...cant be certain ill make it down for the amount of games.

WHY would any right thinking 'member' want to be forced to 'sit' in the 3rd level
