It's called a thumpin' & the better team on the day gave it to a team that was to cautious & afraid to chance their arm.bruce wrote: I just wanna know what the hell was that??
To second mrpc's eloquence......................SHIT HAPPENS
See you next season
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields
I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad I have a case of pneumonia that appeared out of nowhere on Friday Night. It has had me in a daze at best ever since, and it kept me from sitting around at the ground all day waiting to see that flogging.
Stormin North Queanbeyan!
very disappointed at the moment. :icon_frown:
however I will be dusting myself of and greeting the boys home tomorrow at MC labour park!!!!!!!!!!
I think we have learnt a lot this season not only about our on field game but also the crap that goes with being a non NSW team and the thin skinned NRL who can not even spell Melbourne! so what the f**k are they doing running to show.
Bring on 2009

Glass half full - half empty
As Cam Smith said If this is the worst that happens to us in life then we've had a charmed life.
We as supporters have a long way to go before we suffer as much as other clubs supporters,so we swallow this bitter pill & move forward.
BTW : Tomorrow is my birthday - My son & daughter in law have decided my season isn't quite over yet.
Australia V England - Telstra Dome - Aisle 18 - Lvl 1 - D 53
But do I go in a Storm top or a Wigan top

My 2 best mates are Manly followers.
The past 24 months have been interesting to say the least.
One was has been a sport (shook his hand in congratulations) the other a twat (stuck my fingers at him).
Now I find out the meaning capitulation, anhililation and despair.
Seriously, is there any light at the end out there somewhere?
I live side by side with these blokes and now I'm gonna have Eagle rock shoved down my neck for God knows how long.
Defeat is one thing, but this........Oh God!

I know supporters that will move heaven and earth to just make a Grand Final, let alone win one.
We as fans have been blessed these last three years. Sure we only returned 1/3, but lets just take a minute to salute this great team we support.
BTW, did anyone share a tear when they saw Issy after the game?

This is so brilliantly spoken....whilst our performance and losing 40 - 0 really feels like we havent been represented, this guy come out and says something like that well done Cameron and thank you for representing us.

I am a very Proud STORM supporter, yes we got flogged in the most important game of the year BUT we can all stand tall, hold our heads up high and shout out loud that we love our STORM and are proud!
The boys will bounce back and be a force to reckoned with for many years to come!
The NRL and the media got what they wanted, they should be very ashamed!
Thankyou to the club, the players and all the supporters of the STORM for one hell of a great year, we will rise above this result!
Be Proud to support the Melbourne Storm!
Cheers

Go the Mighty Melbourne Storm and the Mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!!
No way did we deserve that kind of belting but the better team won.
Manly just had the fresh legs all the way. We had nothing left for the big game and they just had this unlimited energy. A very hard season finally got the better of us. Manly looked like us last year
I missed the first 20 minutes aswell....thanks daylight saving
