UPDATE
Everyone, I or others who have been in contact with Rose on a daily basis have not had an opportunity to come on here in the last week or so in relation to Stew's current condition.
It is not good news,
Stew's condition deteriorated late last week and he was moved back into ICU, with the doctors believing he had another infection and further tests were taken. On Saturday Rose and Stew were informed they believed he had a tumour somewhere, but further tests would be required to determine where.
Yesterday, the doctors confirmed the worst, and talked of Stew having a catscan, but not indicating when this could happen as he is fully ventilated again and this would make the catscan difficult to do.
Tonight about an hour ago. Deb has rung me to tell me that Stew has been diagnosed with a Melanoma, and that the doctors were not certain he could even survive having the catscan, and that he may be transferred to a hospital in Melbourne ( he is currently in Frankston)
I have just spoken to Rose, the doctors have done the catscan tonight and he has come through it, but the results will not be known until sometime through the night.
Rose has asked that we all pray, and those who don't normally do that, please do, we all need to rally as Storm Family and support Rose in this devastating time for her and Stew.
I am absolutely shattered, we all thought and believed he was getting better, but it's not to be. He went into hospital with complications from having the flu, and the outcome was far worse than any of us could ever imagine.
Pray for Rose and Stew, and hug the ones you love, you just never know when fate will play its hand and deal a devastating blow.
We love you Rose and Stew and our hearts and prayers are reaching out to you from where we are,
Bunnies, Stormboy, Tazzie & Peter.
