Stephen Kearney has signed for Hull FC for a year - Hull have a vacancy on their overseas quota, as Colin Best is coming back to the NRL.

All the best Steve!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Read about it in the Herald Sun this morning. Good luck to him. He has given us good service and he is now looking to secure his financial future for retirement.

Good incentive for all the boys to give him a rousing send off with another premiership.

 Sad to see Mooks go but it's best he goes out still in good form, and hopefully with another premiership ring!

I'm shattered that Mooks is leaving

At least though it is to England, I'd hate to have to cheer against him. Steve has been my fav player for a number of years now but I fully understand the decision to make some extra cash for his retirment.

Congrats on a great NRL career Mooks, you are a champion, and I for one will certainly miss you in the number 12 jersey next season and beyond... good luck for the future!!
Storming our way to glory!

Sorry to see him leaving, but it's great news that he is joining Hull.

He will be linking up again with Richard Swain, who has been in outstanding form this season by all accounts.

I pity the poor fools that will come up against him next year :P

HELL FC

Why them??

ANYONE else would have been fine (although I'm sorry to lose him), but why sign with them???

(Nothing personal against the Hell fans, just their club)

Still don't understand. Surely you're not suggesting he'd be better off at Rovers?

Apparently Mooks is looking to coach when his playing days are over...
"Encouraged by an NRL club offer to become involved in coaching, that field is likely to be his [Stephen Kearney's] long term option. He has passed his Australia level one exams and is working on level two."
