Hasn't been much discussion about the game this week  I'll see if I can get things started 8)

MMELBOURNE STORM:

1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Geyer
3. Steven Bell
4. Ben MacDougall
5. Matt King
6. Scott Hill
7. Matt Orford
8. Rodney Howe
9. Cameron Smith
10. Alex Chan
11. David Kidwell
12. Stephen Kearney (c)
13. Kirk Reynoldson

14. Danny Williams
15. Ryan Hoffman
16. Glen Turner
17. Cooper Cronk
18. Steve Turner
19. Dustin Cooper

WESTS TIGERS:

1. Brett Hodgson
2. Jason Moodie
3. John Wilson
4. Shane Elford
5. Pat Richards
6. Michael Buettner
7. Scott Prince
8. Todd Payten
9. Darren Senter (c)
10. John Skandalis
11. Ben Galea
12. Mark O'Neill
13. Scott Sattler

14. Robbie Mears
15. Dene Halatau
16. Anthony Laffranchi
17. Bryce Gibbs

On paper we should win, and by current form we should win by alot. But theres a few things I'm worried about; Melbourne away from home and the Tigers have played poorly for a month. Will that change this weekend?

physically we're stronger than them, skandalis out after getting hit on the head by his own teammate. good go forward by our pack. tigers ahead on the board but not on the field. we just need to protect our right wing.

orford and hill quiet. not doing much significantly

Okay - my first time seeing Badger as a ref, and I already don't like him!

same here buzz, some pretty weak penalties, especially that one where he deemed the tackle to have been completed outside the in goal
that was just crap

Did you not see Geyer catch a bomb on the run and make plaenty of yards.

Geyer played well tonight.

tigers were in front due only to intercepts untill danny got sent off.

Dissapointing result in the end.

Geyer played badly in the first 30 or so minutes, those tries he bombed plus the Moodie (or was it Hodgson) one he let in early really cost us. His wing was targeted all night cuz it was open like 7-11!! barely any tries scored to the right side of the posts.

He did a bit better soon as he switched to fullback but it didn't make up for his mistakes early in the game.

There comes a time in every players life when he becomes somewhat of a liabilty. Matt Geyer has done wonder for the Melbourne Storm and definatly doesn't deserved to be dropped. But with players such as Steve Turner, Dustin Cooper and Jake Webster in reserve grade it makes me ponder whether we are missing out with having Geyer on the wing. He clearly doesn't have what he used to.
