i dont no much at all about the AFL and their gear but maybe the reason why the nrl does not have a shop is that out of the 16 teams there are number of different clothing companies producing official apperal for each team.

but yeh it would make it heaps easier to buy gear.

Theres a franchise called Footy Fever, it's pretty league-centric. Probably depends on where the stores based though.

You guys should totally move to NSW ;)

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

our kit is worth 2m$+
MORE than $2 million.

That's how much a premiership -with the possibility of more to come - is believed to be worth to a rugby league club.

NRL premiers Melbourne Storm yesterday unveiled its latest sponsor, Suzuki, in a deal that has taken the Victorian club into uncharted waters.

It is understood the three-year deal has stretched the value of the Storm playing kit to in excess of $2.25 million, not including its partnership with apparel sponsor Reebok, on the back of its dominant 2007 season.

The Storm brand has tripled in value over the past three years after back-to-back grand final appearances.

With a new rectangular stadium to be unveiled in 2010, it would appear Storm's financial future is starting to look more secure, with Host Plus also renewing its sponsorship until the end of the 2010 season.

Melbourne unveiled its new away strip yesterday, with the club deciding to remove the yellow lightning bolt that had covered the front of previous jerseys.

The yellow bolt looked amateurish.

As for St George, we play in purple when they wear their white home strip.
