Hey guys, today I went out & bought a DVD recorder (with the man & his permission of course  ;-)) we can now start copying the video to dvd for everyone  :D
He's a bit concerned that some people may not be able to play the copied dvds on their players but we'll see how we go.........
I might just have to take a 'donation' for em cos of the cost of blanks/electricity  ;-) and of course the labour cost when I finally work out how to use the bloody thing!!  :lol: :lol:
Anyhoo, I'll update when we get things moving  :D

Oh god I hope not - I think it's a bloody special vid that belongs only with our little group of dedicated supporters!  :D
Plus, can you have a 3/4hr piece on youtube??

Depending on which way you record you can either pre format the disk to play on any system or 'finalise' the disk after you've finished recording.

We're (well he  ;-)) are just in the process of connecting it to our tv - so many bloody cords.........dvd/video player, the cord for the projector, ps2 and xbox and now the new thing - sheesh, ya reckon we're geeks or what?  :lol: :lol: :lol:

Here's the thing - the man has informed me he wants to record it once then burn the dvd on the puter, I love Storm but really don't wanna sit & watch the thing over & over & over again  :lol: :lol: :lol:  Besides, it's only a cheapie one so........
Anyhoo, he's the geekiest geek that ever did geek & I should just shut the hell up & sit here trying to look pretty................ ;-)

OK!!  It's done!! (Well the recorder is all connected & it's been tested with a karate tournament on our own dvd & the portable)  ;D
We will record one disk & see how we go burning it - hopefully the copies will be of good quality too  :D  It's a 5 hr video so we'll see how we can work it all out.

TDCockers - the man has said he'll try to do that thing you said (cos it'll be a new experience for him  ;-)) PM me & we'll see what we can do.

Soon as we get some disks happening I'll get u all to PM me with orders  ;-)

One more thing.......just watching the tape now for a few mins & who's right at the start of it??   Our very own Bourbon Rat!!!!  :lol:
