Does anybody know where I could get a storm tie or a cloth patch,My son wants to wear it to his formal......I have tried e-bay and the net but no luck so far and I am running out of time

No idea, I wanted to buy one earlier this year but finally settled on a plain purple tie as I couldn't find a Storm tie for sale anywhere.

Rugby Fever had one on sale in store, not sure if it is on there site, but I would give them a call.

Haven't seen any new styles ties on sale for a couple of years, not even corporate ones.

I checked with them in May and they had sold their last one. They told me they had submitted a design to Storm and expected to have them available in June for sale. I was later told that the Storm only organised a run of enough ties for their own purposes, ie players and staff, none available for sale to the general public.

Official club ties are rare, but there are two that have been done by NRL licensed merchandise companies which the club doesn't have a say over.

One is a blueish one with a silverish Storm logo down the bottom left corner and then there is one the is blue with purple bans with the logo also down the bottom.

And I'm sure at the recent sale I saw one hanging up behind the counter.

I've got both ties but only wear the one with the coloured flecks and small logo as I think it is a classier tie. 

If you want the other one, I'd sell it for $15 + postage.  Just let me know and we can sort something out if you want it
