Hey Fampa, I would DEFINITELY take you up on that offer, if it weren't for my stupid Broncos mates getting married on Saturday night... and I'm Best Man for it, so I won't be able to leave until after 10pm at least... that only leaves me with flights Sunday morning, and yes I've checked WebJet, and the cheapest is around $250 (one way), and another $250 to come back on Monday, or around $160 to come back on Tuesday.

I suppose I could then come back with you on Monday Fampa, but how much fuel contribution money would you need?

In 99 one supporter from Melbourne was on a safari trip (he was a student liaison office for a TAFE) in the middle of the N.T. He caught light plane to Alice Springs, from Alice Springs to Brisbane, from Brisbane to Sydney.

Watched the game and as soon as it finished did the same thing backwards leaving Sydney at 9.00pm and staying over night in Brisbane so that he was only away from work for a day and a half.

More money than sense? No his memory of being there is something he holds dear. We all value those sorts of memories differently. His....well, one that will never be forgotten.

Admittedly that's all a bit easier when the game is on in the afternoon.  I don't thin kpeople would be having the trouble they are having now if we went back to the 3PM kick off.

I should also add, my spare ticket has gooorrne.

Unfortunately SW, what my heart and head would like to do is totally different to what my bank account will allow... getting married certainly has a way of draining your funds...

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm there SW?  :-k

Not at all, many will tell you that when we know someone that can't make it to a game we ALWAYS throw in a kick to '....' the the opposition is kicking.

We have done since 99.

I still have one ticket spare that a bulldogs support would like but as it is the 3rd row from the front in the middle of where Storm supporters are sitting I not that keen.

Anyone interested let me know.
