It's First vs Second at Olympic Park this Friday
Hopefully the weather holds up as the forecast is for showers for the whole week
We will probably get a better idea on how the two teams will line up after SoO3.

Has Steve Turner recorvered from his injury? He is a must in the team these days. Hope Slater gets a spot on the bench

Great news, looks like a big crowd for this one!!Saddle up for Friday night Footy!
Monday, July 3, 2006 - 3:38 PM
With the State of Origin III juggernaut in full swing, Melbournians can enjoy more BIG league action when the Storm take on the Broncos in what will be the blockbuster game of the season.
Both favoured for premiership contention and the NRL's two most popular teams, Melbourne Storm and the Brisbane Broncos are set to continue the week's historic sporting rivalry on Friday 7th July at Olympic Park.
BUT THIS CLASH WILL BE NO POPULARITY CONTEST!
It'll be a TITANIC struggle... an EPIC battle... a COLOSSAL match up between two of the league's best teams.
A top of the table clash like no other!
Already named match of the round and Storm's second prime time free to air televised game, this is one not to be missed.
And it appears the fans are answering the call!
With Corporate hospitality completely sold out and game tickets selling fast, could this clash be the game to fill Olympic Park?
With no scheduled AFL, this will be the ONLY Friday night footy in town!
So don't miss out.
Come along and show your support for the Mighty Melbourne Storm.
Get your tickets at Ticketek from as little as $ 17.00 for Adults and $ 4.00 for children (booking fees apply).

That was a great article Bula, I just read it a few minutes ago on the NRL website.bula wrote:Great news, looks like a big crowd for this one!!

Also caught the end of the Storm's third ad (the retirement village one) on Nein during their 6pm news.
On the Storm vs Tigers match, that's a Saturday night 7:30 game.

Slater back in Storm lineup
July 4, 2006 - 12:34PM
Billy Slater has been recalled to the Melbourne Storm lineup for Friday night's top of the table NRL clash with Brisbane at Olympic Park.
The former Queensland Origin star has been named at fullback for Melbourne.
Steve Turner could not be considered for selection as he was still recovering from a rib cartilage injury.
With both Garret Crossman (shoulder) and Ian Donnelly (ankle) also missing through injury, Antonio Kaufusi and Brett White will be the starting front-rowers.

No Turner
Hope Slater is back to somewhere near his best and plays a good game because thats what we come use to since he has been injured.
What a battle in the forwards though, Webcke, Petero and Thaiday up against White, Kaufusi Cross and Blair.
