I'll just wait to see them go down in flames and replace the Rabbits on the bottom of the table.  How can a club be prepared to pay so much more and not sacrifice depth!!!  How many has the Titans signed so far?  13 or so players isn't it?  Carney, L.Bailey, Prince, P.Campbell, ex Bronco Meyer from SL are prolly the high profile signings.  Wouldn't surprise me if Kiddy's name is added to the list.

Yeah, wouldnt surprise me if they have the same season as the Western Farce (whoops, I mean Force). I heard an interview with the Titans CEO who was saying that he has no interest in Steve Turner cause if they signed him, he would play at full-back and they have signed a full-back. He's this arrogant little Leeds full-back called Richie Mathers, good player, but needs a real kicking. The Titans I believe will be a testing ground for all the Pommie players who cant get a shot with other NRL teams. Guys like Gleeson, Fielden, Yeamen and Cunnigeham are all interested in joining them.

Well we won't get Maitua or K. Gidley, they've both just re-signed with their respective clubs.

And according to this article in the Age today, we're looking at signing Newcastle winger Anthony Quinn - as are the Drag-ons & a few other clubs.

http://www.theage.com.au/news/league/qu ... 18224.html
MELBOURNE Storm is poised to add Country Origin winger Anthony Quinn to its classy back line with the 23-year-old from Newcastle set to sign a deal understood to be worth about $700,000 for the next three seasons.

It is a sign that second-placed Storm (9-3), which plays the struggling Parramatta (13th, 3-9) tomorrow, is looking to deepen its stocks that have been exposed by suspension, injury and representative commitments this year, with several back-line members coming off contract at the end of this season.

Quinn's current team the Knights made it clear he was not a retention priority under new coach Brian Smith and the former Australian schoolboys representative met Storm coach Craig Bellamy, who coached him in the Country Origin side this year, and other officials in Melbourne on Thursday.

It is believed St George Illawarra is among several other clubs also interested in signing the stocky workhorse but Quinn said no other meetings had been arranged for this weekend when the Knights have the bye.

Quinn, who made his representative debut this year and impressed Bellamy at Country Origin camp, hoped to complete negotiations before Newcastle's next round game against the Warriors in Auckland.

He has played 90 first-grade games since making his NRL debut in 2002 and his likely departure means the Knights will lose both their first-choice wingers at the end of the season as Great Britain vice-captain Brian Carney is headed for the new Gold Coast team.

He'd make a great replacement for Jake.

I always thought he was a good winger, really strong powerful player. But imo he's a real niggly type player! Im not sure, surely theres better choices on the market

Bellamy will put Quinn back in his place. Same thing happened with Kiddy, Crocker and Cross. Now their all not as niggly but still hard.

Yeah he was the little shit that gave it to Webster after Webster scored in the corner... I'd rather not have him in our side, but there does seem to be a large number of players either going or considering going next year, so we might not have a choice - it'll come down to who actually wants to come to Melbourne.

We now have about 5 threads just on the front page on the comings and goings of players.

I thought there used to be a sticky regarding contracts and thus keeping it all together.  The way it is at the moment, there's a lot of overlap regarding signings and re-signings.

Meh call me a neat freak, but I like it altogether in one thread - nice and neat  :P
