Walker at centre? You've got to be kidding. He's a poor defender for a winger. He's shown time and again that he's a turnstile in the centres.

Inglis has to be in the starting side.

1. Billy Slater
2. Matt Geyer/Steve Turner*
3. Matt King
4. Greg Inglis
5. Jake Webster
6. Scott Hill
7. Cooper Cronk
8. Antonio Kafusi
9. Cameron Smith
10. Brett White
11. David Kidwell
12. Ryan Hoffman
13. Dallas Johnson

Interchange

14. James Aubusson/Matt Geyer*
15. Michael Crocker
16. Garrett Crossman
17. Glen Turner

* - if you want Turner on the wing, then Geyer to replace JA as bench utility.

Inglis will be centre without a doubt!

If anything walker will make the bench, and thats it.

Ild have white in the #8 and donnely at #10.

Crossman and AK to the bench with kiddy and aubusson..my reasoning for having kiddy on the bench and hoffman starting is that kidwell has alot of aggression and i feel he can be used in the same sort of way that Danny Williams was used. Off of the bench running at weak forwards or running to the edge and finding gaps in between centres and wingers...kidwell has some pace for a big guy and would be useful later on in the game IMO.

So something like this:

1.Slater
2.Geyer
3.king
4.inglis
5.Webster /turner
6. hill
7.cronk
8. white
9. smith
10. Donnelly
11.Hoffman
12.crocker
13.DJ

14. kidwell
15.AK
16.Crossman
17. aubusson/GT//feeney/walker/jeremy smith/ adam blair/scott anderson/friend

For the 17 spot...i wouldnt mind any of those guys, i would really like to see blair or JS have a crack...That gives us some size off the bench aswell as a play maker that could slip into half, 5/8 or hooker if need be. Im not a big fan of having an outside back on the bench...as i feel they need heaps of game time and not short stints.

And then when cross is able to play he goes in for donnelly(or whoever isnt performing).

Nah, you need a utility on the bench, not a specialist winger (who can't tackle).
Ild have white in the #8 and donnely at #10.
Oops, I forgot Donnely - swap him for Crossman in 16.

Yeah i was saying if he was ever going to get picked for something it would be the bench. but like i said im not a fan of having a winger or centre on the bench.

I would like Walker to be stuck playing for the Bears for a couple games, the less I see of that QLDer the better and it's funny I've met guy even have a photo of me with him.

12. Michael CROCKER

14. Ryan HOFFMAN
15. Garrett CROSSMAN
16. Antonio KAUFUSI
17. Glen TURNER

Dennis SCOTT would replace Garrett CROSSMAN if he was fit.
Greg INGLIS and Cameron SMITH to goal kick from their respective sides of the field.
Cooper CRONK, Scott HILL and Cameron SMITH to kick in general play.

Goal kicking this season will be an improvement in my opinion. Obviously Matt Orford leaving will improve it, because I always believed he couldn't kick over a jam tin. As well as INGLIS and SMITH, GEYER and CROCKER can also kick goals.

I don't rate Donnely - would start AK unless the preseason has shown something different, but off last years form you have to have Kafusi ahead of Donnely IMO

I'd love to see AK start and play more minutes, but I think maybe Donnellys extra experience may give
him a leg up.

Donnelly is alright..has the size and can hit ahrd...but is really inconsistent....wouldnt have strung 2 good games together for a long time. If he is more consistent then he should be in the team somewhere.
