when I lived in meblourne I used to go to every home game standing in the bai stand having the time of my life. Now I live in perth I dont get that chance. Is there still the bai stand and does everyone still know how to sing

The Bai stand is still there and as far as I can tell, nothing's changed

The real Bai Stand is still there but severely depleted unfortunately. A many of the original members either no longer attend games, sit elsewhere in the stadium or have moved interstate. Its never been the same since the move to and back from Colonial Stadium and although we chant and cheer etc. I'd have to say there isn't much, if any singing these days Although we did attempt to sing the National Anthem, thats when its not f*cked up by the performer/s.

Maybe thats something we need to look into Stormgirl, bringing back the singing? Tho i think i may need to double my special coke intake for me to participate

I've been a Bai stand regular since 2002, and we're getting a wee bit of a singing culture back. I keep on pushing for it on this site, and at the games, so I'd be delighted to get some more singers on board. Check out the Songs and Chants section on this website, by the way.

It seems the singers are at the Centre of the Lower section of the Lazuras Stand.
