Coates is on fire.

- Ref has been very average.
- Boys have been gritty, love the application and desperation.
- Attack has been pretty pedestrian, could sharpen up there.
- Warbrick started poorly but made some good plays in the back end of the half, redeemed himself slightly.
- NAS on the bench now would be perfect.
- King has been immense, tough as nails has really thrown the team on his back.

We need some more in the middle IMO. We are getting through the work, but need some punch or second phase play.

Also that edge of Hughes/Meaney/Warbrick is getting SKINNED, how JAC hasn’t scored yet is beyond me, need to get up in Kikau and Burtons face and stop giving them space to wind up.

Papenhuyzen on report for a hip drop tackle.

Didn’t look too bad to me.

We were getting up early on Kikau in the latter part of the half. If the Bulldogs get a quick play the ball, they will go straight out to Kikau, as would we. Just got to do our best to limit time and space, and get good first contact.

Great effort by Coates, after not catching ball on full and knocking on, to come up with that bell ringer. (Coates has worked out in the off season that he can tackle)

Can't believe the Bulldogs wasted their challenge.

So anytime you land on the back of the attacker’s legs it is a hip drop? Paps had full momentum and the way he grabbed JAC’s waist, I’m not sure what he can do there. He certainly never had hold, and swung his hips through. It was all one motion.

But they haven't scored. Your glasses are more tinted than my beer googles in Thailand during a water festival. Getting overlapped each time.

I think Hughes has done pretty well so far

They're saying Meaney has missed plenty (my words) on Kikau, so, a centre is tackling a centre rower. Meaning, over lap is in. Papenhauzen fan / Warbrick hater take make

Meaney has had a rough 3 weeks at centre after the honeymoon
