If the play-by-play information on the QRL website is correct, Joe Chan played the full 80, which is a good sign. That left -side spot in the second row is very open at this stage . Shawn Blore can’t seem to get the full 80 minutes, whereas Joe can. Will Craig give Shawn and Munster another chance to gel together, ( and keep Jack Howarth on the bench ) or make the switch to Joe?
Perhaps it will depend on how NAS does tomorrow. If he deserves a spot in the 17, bringing Joe in for 80 opens up that spot for NAS at the expense of the Blore/Howarth combination ( not that Jack did anything wrong).

Not convinced Chan is an 80 minute player in top grade just yet. Yes, he did it vs Warriors, but only because we lost Welch in the rotations.RobbieRoss wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 9:43 pm If the play-by-play information on the QRL website is correct, Joe Chan played the full 80, which is a good sign. Blore is ahead of him for mine.
Interesting. I wonder if he gets a game then . I would assume he comes in for Macdonald, but it might be tempting to bring him in for Welch instead. I can't see them going with a bench of Wishart, Welch, NAS and Macdonald for instance.
