So early news is that Hughes and Smith are a possibility but Coates will be pushing it.

You're banking on Storm to lose two in a row?

Smith played the full game for the Tigers last week so he should be 100% ready to go, I think Paps will play at least another week in QLD Cup then maybe get the bench against the Dragons next week then maybe a start at home agains the Titans.

Team I’d expect to see named tomorrow -

1. Meaney
2. Coates
3. Smith
4. Tonumaipea
5. Warbrick
6. Munster
7. Hughes
8. Welch
9. Grant
10. Kamikamika
11. Loiero
12. Katoa
13. King

14. Garlick
15. Asofa-Solomona
16. Eisenhuth
17. Moeroa

18. Pezet
19. Wishart
20. MacDonald
21. Seve
22. Olam
23. Papenhuyzen

With a few changes on game day due to fitness, I’d like to see Macca get a bench spot in all honesty I’d actually drop Welch for him. Young T should hold a centre spot ahead of Olam and Seve based purely off effort and enthusiasm last weekend, we have some decisions to make 4 weeks out we will need to settle on a line up soon, big one is does Papi get that 1 jumper back from Meaney before the finals 🤔

I'd like to see Young get at least one more game to get him to 50 for the Storm too

You realise that both games against Canberra last year at home we were coming off 2 game losing streaks and still coughed it up against them

Can't remember if anything was said post Penrith game but it was pretty weird that Katoa only played 30 minutes. That was less than he did on his return the week earlier.

Massive game in the context of top 4. I am like Bartos very anxious for this game. Raiders have a great recent record at AAMI Park.

Mattpoet, I also would love to see Young get to 50 Storm games. He would be only the second Victorian to play 50 games for the Storm (Mahe Fonua exactly 50 games). The way Young played last week, surely he deserves another game.

Coates firming to play but Daily Telegraph reporting Hughes in big doubt still, will be a big loss if he can’t play this is a massive game for our top 4 hopes a win here sets us up perfectly for the finals.

I expect Reimis to come in for either Seve or Young as well, and I’m not sure about starting Katoa off the bench again I think he needs to start too.

I think we have to go pack heavy starting g to match up with the likes of Papalli, Tapine and Horsborough..

So for me NAS starts with Welch and Katoa in2nd row. I could even have Tui starting with NAS and Welch/Moera off bench.

Looks like Hughes will be playing. Only two players in the reserves remaining are Smith and MacDonald.
