McGrath asks if there is a particular name for Bromwich's role in the tackle. "No name for that," a confused Bromwich responds.

Already looks like a hatchet job.

It was such an innocuous tackle. I went back and watched it closely... If that warrants a charge, there should be about 200 charges this weekend if the NRL are consistent :roll:

James Hooper just said on NRL 360 he has been found guilty on the "new Melbourne lead" hip tackle that has come into the game and we must stop it. I have never heard of this 'new' tackle before now. I have seen some lower legs tackles that are worse this is just more rubbish to stop Storm.

Who is the Captain with no Cam, Jesse or Dale?

Lucas I don't think it was that dumb given the softness of the tackle. As Mattpoet said hatchet job.

Storm Spirit if Jesse had have pled guilty he would have been free to play. Long term it isn't a bad thing though because if he pled guilty he would have had 75 carry over points, whereas losing the challenge it was worth 100 points so a 1 week suspension with no carry over points.

Imagine if someone missed a grand final because they were suspended because of that tackle.

OK ...my bad.

But why plead guilty when you believe you're not guilty...

The removal of carryover points makes a stack of sense given that these Finals will be extra tough and are not the time to have carry over points.

I'm ok with the process .
