However lets remember that we are now 7-2, we have got a few key players to return and we have had to relocate to another state on very short notice, plenty of clubs would of fallen over the last 2 weeks against last years GF teams, we are going ok I reckon with alot of room for improvement.
Did anyone really think we would win both these games without munster? another great effort I reckon.
Spot on. An ugly win; really a lucky win; but a win- and fabulous to get 4 points from back-to-back wins against the teams that beat us in the finals last year.

Ryley Jacks tweaked his medial ligament too.

If Munster is still out and Ryley hurt his knee can we debut Cooper Johns now ...I’m calling it Cooper Johns #204

Also storm nearly didn’t make it out of Canberra the whole team were on the plane for an hour and a half on the tarmac before it took off ...I asked one of the guys if they were staying overnight he said Ponessi said if the flight didn’t take off by a certain time they would have to stay ...but it left at 12:19

I'd say Johns is more likely to be given a go against Titans than a lot of other teams...

I would be happy for Johns to play against the Titans. One thing I don't want them to do is rush Munster back if he is not ready.

With Jesse out I would like to see Albert Vete get a game.

And that's fair enough. It wasn't worth a sin-bin. It did deserve a penalty but honestly that would have been enough - he impeded Fox, but I don't think it was deliberate and calculated.
On the other hand, they did score a try off a blatant forward pass, so I'm not overly sympathetic.

My thoughts exactly.

I agree with this too. That and they had ample opportunity to score points in the first-half and at one period held 100 per cent possession for a period of about 10 minutes only to repeatedly cough the ball up.

Got a bit of an injury toll building.

Apparently Lee injured his hammy, Bromwich has an MCL and Jacks has tweaked his MCL too. Not sure about Kaufusi but given the guys are playing on the Sunshine Coast I wouldn't be surprised if he played.

That's of course on top of Kamikamica's back problem and Munster's MCL.

Just have to be cautious of getting ambushed in the next two weeks. The Broncos have a bit of confidence back and so do the Titans.

There is just this assumption in virtually all fans, commentators and referees that Melbourne are 'bending the rules' with everything we do...
Send a player for a HIA - We are trying to get a free interchange.
Strap a knee during a break in play (line drop out/scrum), we are trying to milk time.
Get penalised anywhere near our tryline, it is intentional and should be a professional foul.

Jesse was getting strapped and the commentators were eluding to 'gamesmanship' and getting the boys a rest. The crowd booing. J Brom obviously had limited movement range and was hobbling around after that. A couple of minutes on, he is replaced and doesn't come back.

Jacks is the same, now the commentators are baying for blood, calling for Smith to be binned for a professional foul for daring to question the ref forcing Ryley off the field to be strapped / as a pseudo-punishment. Confirmed that he also has a medial ligament strain.

Yet only moments later when the Storm earn a repeat set, Whitehead gets to stop the restart clock for a HIA and Brandy is very vocal, "Oh this is quite different, a HIA is quite different to what we saw at the other end of the field"... Is it Brandy? Or are you just seeing what you want to see? Whitehead has form for it too, last year in the Finals game we played agaibnst the Raiders, they employed a slow down tactic at repeat sets EVERY single time. Whitehead had a tiny scratch on his knee and we stopped the game for 2 minutes. It was all good to fans and commentators (and refs) then. The refs waved Smith away when he questioned it.

There is a massive double standard we are subject to each week that puts us at a distinct disadvantage.

I agree with yourhero. According to everyone in the media and Robinson, against the Roosters we were lucky because two tries came from Roosters errors. But no one mention that a Roosters try came off one of our errors. The amazing play and kick that field goal that took the game to golden point had nothing to do with the win, no of course not. This week we were lucky because the Raiders had some bad calls. But no is talking about the try they scored from a forward pass. I know the Storm are playing 80 minutes of great football, but I would just wish someone would say: "Storm won the game because they were better". If the situation was reversed it would be all about how good are the Roosters and how good are the Raiders.
