Robbo's Watchtower - Episode 1 with Tawera Nikau
https://www.melbournestorm.com.au/news/ ... atchtower/
Incredible look back at the career and life of one of the most important players in the Melbourne Storm's history.
The interview touches on Tawera's career, the formation of the Storm culture, his debut for the club, the 99 GF, the loss of his wife to suicide, the loss of his leg in the motorcycle accident and how he mentally recovered from such a dark place.
Despite all that has happened to Nikau in his life, he is still super positive about virtually everything. I find him quite inspirational, the way in which he speaks. He is very articulate and has a way of drawing you in when he speaks.
It's 37 minutes long but I recommend you make time to have a listen.

I'be been enjoying this series that Robbo has been running with. The Matty Geyer one is another ripper. Outside of Smithy and Slater, Boof is one of my favourite Storm player to ever pull on a jersey. Just a top bloke, full of heart.
