Just as we all thought.

Sandor's value to the Club and team is the inspirational, team first, mateship type psyche elements ...hence his leadership role.

There's no way he's in this important position because he is regarded as first choice or a regular First Grade player.

If the players love him and perform better with him around the Club...shit he can stay is a part of the Leadership Group for the next 10 years.

Sandor Earl obviously functions as a kind of 'reserve grade captain' and I assume part of his mandate is to be that link between the club leadership and the fringe players and keep his ear out for any problems so that they can be addressed and not fester into big issues.

Munster promoted into the leadership group. Really happy for him.
Munny said he was humbled and even a little emotional when he was elevated to the leadership group a few weeks ago.

"I'm very grateful and thankful," he said.

"It hit me in the chest when Bellyache told me the leadership group wanted me in.
"I've had more balance off the field lately and I feel like I've become a better person away from footy so that might have been a factor.

"Usually when Craig pulls me aside he's about to rip into me, it's not often something positive," he added with a laugh.
