OK, I haven't left yet!

From the Roar, valid too.
The difference between this (The Max King tackle) and the Junior Paulo effort a week or two ago is what exactly? Both players grabbed the hip and tried to drag the ball carrier down without any consideration for the position of the ball carrier’s legs. Both resulted in injury, both were penalised at the time BUT only one has been called out as pre-meditated and a deliberate attempt to injure. Remind me again where most, if not all, TV commentator’s hail from, what teams (if any) did they play for and which team do they always like to publicly criticise any chance they get?? Final question, is it Finals time?

The King incident was unfortunately and careless act by King, yet I love how they love to say it's Melbourne's Storm's culture/tactics as if we've been doing it all season... anyway... enough of this garbage, bring on Saturday!

Seems like the steam is running out on the 'wrestling' so now they're using Cam Smith, Craig Bellamy and Munster's future as their bait. It's incredible.
They're actually late this year, wasn't the GF originally for this weekend? (I'll be leaving now...)
Fair point! Perhaps the latest they've started lol

so we have gone through Bellamy future, Smith future, Munster future, tackling issues, today it seems we are back to the Harry Grant get out clause story due to something he has supposedly said at the tigers awards night last night.

If he’s there, I’m not: Harry Grant drops Cameron Smith bombshell at Tigers dinner

Of course its Hooper again. The daily foxsports write a distracting article about storm continues, wonder what tomorrows topic will be.

Hooper has also lodged stories on;

- Frank Ponissi going to Brisbane.
- Dave Donaghy going to Brisbane.
- Paul Bunn going to Brisbane.
- Aaron Bellamy going to Brisbane.

He does it tongue in cheek now. He knows it pisses off the club so he just lodges made up story after made up story to try and rub salt in. Biggest flog in the media and that is saying something when you look at the competition.

I can't get over running an article on the back of a fan tweet with no facts or real quotes in it. Hooper's next piece will be on there being no Storm agenda.

Melbourne says Sydney can’t stand the Storm. They’re not wrong — here are 25 reasons why

OPINION

Cameron Munster and the Storm surprised nobody when they got on the front foot in grand final week with the usual sob story that Melbourne doesn’t get a fair go with Sydneysiders.

That might be because few sides have polarised fans since 1908 like the Purple Wrestling Cult from south of the border.

Here are 25 reasons why plenty of league fans can’t cop them.

1. The salary cap cheating.

2. Still claiming no one knew anything about the rorts apart from fall-guy ex-AFL club CEO Brian Waldron.

3. The illegitimate Provan Summons premiership trophies still on display in the club foyer.

4. The two sets of books.

5. GI’s boat.

6. Bringing wrestling into rugby league courtesy of jiu-jitsu coach John Donehue.

7. The original grapple tackle.

8. The Chicken Wing.

9. The Rolling Pin.

10. The Crusher.

11. The Wingnut.

12. The Hip Drop.

13. Because it’s always a Sydney-agenda whenever anyone dares express an opinion about the Storm’s grubby tactics.

14. For claiming Manly pioneered the wrestle complete with a photograph of a Sea Eagles honour roll with a wrestling coach dug up from the 1990s. Please.

15. Referee Cameron.

16. Smith’s testimonial at least three seasons before he retired

17. Smith’s never-ending John Farnham farewell tour.

18. Barb’s $15,000 diamond ring.

19. For ostracising club legend Cooper Cronk for daring to leave the purple cult.

20. Robbing Nathan Hindmarsh of a grand final ring in 2009.

21. Because like the wack-job religious cult of Scientology, anyone who doesn’t worship at the Storm alter is immediately excommunicated. For life.

22. Because most Victorians still refer to rugby league as “the rugby”.

23. Because there is nothing rugby league about sipping on a latte in a laneway bar wearing a turtleneck skivvy.

24. For pioneering Billy Slater’s now banned Bend It like David Beckham slide tackle to save a try.

25. Because even if you do worship at the Storm altar the only yarns you’re allowed to tell are stories which paint Melbourne as the greatest sporting organisation in history.

There have been plenty of negative headlines for NRL players in recent weeks and it seems that poor behaviour on the drink isn’t limited to the players.

Fox Sports chief league reporter James Hooper will appear in Downing Centre court on October 4 on charges related to destroying and damaging property. It was the result of big night gone wrong.

He is accused of damaging a car and was found in a bad way on the car bonnet by the owner. He was not arrested at the time and taken by ambulance to hospital. He was later served with a court attendance notice.

Those who have talked to Hooper say that he has no recollection of the matter and he knows he has done the wrong thing. He is doing something about it. He told his employers about the incident.

I have been made aware of the incident and the charges by a host of players, who clearly think there is a double standard in these matters – that the media are quick to rip into players, but they protect their own. Since the incident, Hooper has sensibly stayed out of the firing line when it comes to matters involving bad player behaviour.

He has kept his strong opinions to football and has not been judging players’ private lives.
James Hooper’s court appearances were not reported on by any journalist. F*cking hypocrites the lot of them.

This flog deserves a huge serving of life karma. I mean besides his horrific personality.

Thanks for posting this, as for anything else Hooper dreams up I'd prefer not to know. If he ran in to a shadowy character in a lane way late at night I wouldn't be at all upset.

The dickhead should’ve made it easier on himself and done a top 10. Can’t believe the sane ones on 360 let him spew this nonsense earlier.

It’s sad that this is still the number one agenda grand final week in Sydney.

I personally don’t care how people feel about the storm, but to make it ones most important priority this week makes them look like a donkey.

lima lima lima duck off Hooper, how you can so balantly post a hate piece like that.

INetresting stuff about JAmes Hooper, was that from this year? Where did you find that info?

Journalists are the scum of the earth, football journos too are accountable to NOONE... they can say this team is shit theyll get smashed etc etc, and when it doesnt happen theres no blow back to that journo... If anyone else in their job makes a horrendous miscalculation they get sacked.

The biggest problem with "journo's" with agenda's is how much they can dictate public thinking. General sentiment within NSW rugby league supporters used to be either for or general ambivalence towards the Storm. With year in year out hate journalism towards us public support in NSW is waning. The power of the press, the pen is indeed mightier than the sword.

10 reasons all footy fans with at least half a brain hate James Hooper

1. He is a hypocrite.

2. He is a drunk, that destroys/damages innocent people's property in his drunken rampages. He was found passed out on some innocent guys car bonnet that he had trashed.

3. He is protected by his dodgy RL journalist colleagues who refused to write stories on Hooper's court case for the drunken rampage and property damage.

4. Hooper then goes on to critise the behaviour of NRL players caught up in drunken incidents...

5. His shiny, bald head distracts everyone from the utter sh*t dribbling out of his mouth when he is on TV.

6. He writes disparaging articles about any player that blacklists him due to his idiotic articles filled with lies.

7. He has no idea what jiu jitsu is, despite mentioning it in every second sentence.

8. He claims to not have a personal issue with Cameron Smith. Please.

9. He claims to not have a personal issue with the Melbourne Storm. Please.

10. He forces us to watch him have a circle-jerk with Paul Kent each week.
