Loving the Matty Johns Podcast... The Cameron Smith one last night and the Finchy one a week or so ago were both brilliant. It is great listening to some of the stories that the guys tell behind the scenes but don't always make it out into the public.

Smithy didn't say a lot of what we haven't heard before - the Raiders near signing was new to me though. Still very entertaining and a reminder of how lucky we are to have such a champion player at our great club.

I loved the talk about Finchy coming to the club and how he was no longer the 'go to' guy in the team and instead just there to play a role.

Matty impersonating Craig;

Craig - "Smithy will get the ball and if he doesn't want it, he'll give it to Cronk. If Cronk doesn't want it, he'll give it to Slater. If he doesn't want it, he'll give it to someone else... etc etc and if they don't want it, he'll give it to you"

Finch - "And what do I do with it?"

Craig - "Give it to GI!"

I am so glad Finchy finished up with us.

I am also VERY glad Cam Smith came and stayed with us.

Me too. He may not have had the same length of career here, or height of career... but still one of my all time favourite Storm players. He is so loyal and has so much love for the club. Just a genuine great bloke.

I also love the predictable journalism off the back of the podcast. Nothing new, but recycle the same NSW bitter talking points. It is honestly just like politics. Wait for the sound byte, recycle the same stories that people want to hear/get agitated over.

As far as articles about the Storm go, they're not too bad. There's a bit of anti-Melbourne bias there, but it's wound back a long way from the usual Dunny Widdler, Buzz Slothfield vitriolic tripe.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
