Round 9 - Storm vs Eels - MAGIC ROUND

Kick-off 7:35pm

Teams name at 4pm today. We'll see if Bellamy makes any changes of the back of another poor performance. An injection of enthusiasm is definitely needed.

at least its a relatively full strength Eels team.
I reckon some of the battle for this Storm team is the mental side of things when they let their guard down against weakened opposition.

Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
Blazza18 was thinking a similar thing (not about moving all our games to Suncorp but how well we play there).
The only bad result I can remember in recent years is when we let a big lead slip to lose late v the Titans.

Greetings all from Croatia! My wife and I are on a holiday to catch up with her relatives in this part of the world. We were wandering around the streets of Dubrovnik today whilst I kept an eye on the Storm scores on my phone. She spotted an Irish pub and suggested we have some lunch. It was not very Irish, but they were showing the Storm game live !! When we arrived the Storm led 18-6. The next 40 minutes of League were the Storm at their brilliant best. It was amazing to watch.
So sad to see Curtis go down. Hopefully he can return at the back end of the season. Presumably Marion Seve gets the spot, or maybe the new lad they just signed ?
Craig said Jahrome will miss this week with the short turnaround , but of course Ryan P is a ready made replacement .
