What is happening with this site??

What is going on??!! Almost every time I log on I’m greeted with dating/sex site threads and other similar things.
In order to make it easier for people to register, it also makes it easier for people to spam. It's a tradeoff. I have deleted and banned the user.
If you come across posts like this, there is an option to mark a post as spam. That alerts me and I can act on it quicker.
