We should win and win well if we show up with the right attitude and hold onto the ball. If our forwards show up expecting a phone-in performance against the spoon favourites, they could very well get their pants pulled down.

Dogs looked pretty good this arvo...but was only against the Tigpies.

They weren’t that great IMO - although their completion rate was. Tigers were just rubbish. First contact and ball handling killed them.

Wind was a massive factor and the Dogs handled it so much better. The Tigers struggled with the ball floating around in the high kicks.

Dogs back 5 ran for ridiculous metres.

Dogs may also be without Foran and Corey HN who struggled at times with injury.

Even with Foran there, no excuses would have sufficed.

The task now becomes even harder for the Dogs though... Foran was very good last week. He obviously showed a lot of grit to tough it out with the busted ankle. You could tell as soon as it happened that he was in a lot of pain but didn't take an easy way out and rest up on the sidelines. He stayed out there, running in support play and hobbling when the ball was out of play. Tough effort.

Just confirmed that Foran is looking at 3 months on the sidelines with that ankle injury... Ouch if you're a Bulldogs fan.

Some teams have numbers they don't use. I think in one case it's because of someone who passed and in otgers number 18 is designated as the fans. Not 100% on that though.

Yep, just had a quick look at the Bulldogs website. Seems they reserve Jersey #18 for the fans.
At every home game a member is selected to receive the 18 Jersey on field by a past player after being nominated by a fellow member.
