2 very very frustrating games …both teams lost …badly
Blackhawks beat the falcons 12-26
Dolphins beat tigers 22-38

Sua Faalogo he is only young so will make mistakes I think tonight was probably the worst I’ve seen him play did some good stuff but also did some really bad stuff that lead directly to 2 dolphins try’s
Grant Anderson was ok
Young Tonumaipea was ok
Chris Lewis was ok
Bronson Garlick did his best almost scored a try but lost the ball over the line
Lazarus Vaalapu was good
Jack Howarth was ok

George Jennings was good
Jonah Pezet did what he had to Proberly tried too hard good to see him back
Tristan Powell ok
Jordan Grant was amazing
Cole Geyer best I’ve seen him play
Alec McDonald BOG straight back to first grade

So if you haven’t heard Justin Olam played for Falcons yesterday…bellza apparently wanted him to work on his defence in the lower grade …he basically did just that and saved a try that would’ve won the brisbane tigers the match …at time he looked a bit bored but he played well and the Falcons got one up over the tigers 18-20

There was 5/6 players in each team for the tigers and falcons so it was an awesome game to watch

Interestingly tigers are having an injury crisis and Alec McDonald played Centre he actually played really good as well
Tristan Powell is getting better and better each week just does all the hard carry’s
Jordan Grant had a quiet one compared to most weeks but still looked good
Joe chan was ok
Cole Geyer scored a try and was really good best game I’ve seen him play at hooker

Sua Faalogo this guy just gets better and better close to scoring twice 3 conversions and a penalty goal
Just Olam quiet by nrl standards but was in every thing
Young Tonumaipea was good
Grant Anderson did grant Anderson things …let in a try and saved one
Chris Lewis ..back to his best …awesome game and score the first try
Lazarus vallapu was pretty good
Jack howarth..did Jack howarth things …was ok

Sounds to me like Olam will play another game in Q Cup, reading between the lines.

I'd like to get MacDonald back in, his stats were again super impressive. Not sure we can fit him in though, with Welch returning and CB reluctant to carry more than 2 props on the bench.

A couple of questions if anyone knows.

1. Why has Joe Chan's photo on the qrl website gone from wearing Storm gear to Tigers gear?

2. What happened in the 76th minute of the Falcons game today? 2 sin bins and a send off!

1 Joe is a development player so I assume he is just wearing his club colours …I don’t think his had a photo for most of the year

2 I didn’t get to watch the game fully as I was at my local clubs game soi just re watched it now …a quick run down of what I saw …Grant Anderson took hold of Josh Paterson who kinda pulled him down and hit him …Grant let go and Sua grabbed him ..Josh tried to punch Sua but couldn’t Luke poselli got involved (3rd man in) fight started between everyone capt of the bears was fighting Sua …

Ref sent Josh off and gave 10 to the capt of the bears and 10 to Luke poselli

Grant Anderson was lucky he started it all

Two very good wins

Jordan best for the tigers
Chris Lewis best for falcons

Also Sua 👌🏽👌🏽

Our boys played well for falcons and tigers but falcons lost again …it’s getting to the point with 5 games to go that if falcons don’t start winning they will miss the 8 …

Falcons played the in form magpies and had a hard time getting over their line
Sua …is a human highlight reel did a lot of good stuff but also got himself in bad positions too
Young…nearly scored but also let in a try as well …he did on
Grant …did Grant things …let in try’s and gave away penalties
Jayden was everywhere was really good …also got himself put on report for a dangerous tackle
Chris best on ground second week in a row
Tyran …was really good playing hooker …played 75 minutes shouldve played 80
Tepai ….didn’t really notice him but did stop a try
Jack howarth…best I’ve seen him play and he scored a try

Falcons beat the clydsdales they started off slow let in 2 try’s but then they finally woke up and ran over the top of the clydsdales we are currently 4th on the ladder
Kane …did ok gave away a few penalties but was good and nearly scored (George did instead)
George …this guy should be playing nrl …was everywhere in everything and score a hattrick in the first half in a 9 minute period honestly was freaky he then scored again in the second half for his 4th try of the game
Jonah when Ryley jacks was giving away every penalty under the sun and back chatting the ref Jonah was the one who kept the team on track and in the game actually really impressed by him in this game
Jordan quieter then usual but still worked hard
Tristan ..didn’t really notice him in this game
Alec …bloody love watching him play …was awesome
Cole …was quiet but still pretty good
Joe …not gonna lie I didn’t even see him …or notice him

Looks like Sua and Pezet aren't playing today. Hopefully nothing serious. Possibly on stand by for NRL I guess.
