Surely Munster has played himself out of contention for the Kangaroos squad now?

Well...looks like Munster has been selected in the Australian squad (edit: has avoided suspension), along with Kaufusi.

Both Bromwich boys, Hughes and Brandon Smith have made the 23 man NZ squad. NAS is missing with an ankle injury.

Brandon looks to be the starting hooker based on that squad unless they go nikorima at hooker and Hughes at 5/8

So when does Olam get an extended run in one of the centre slots? Would certainly freshen things up given how Scott and Chambers finished the season. He’s got more potential than Blair as well. Ball control is Olams biggest issue but with work he could easily make a play off team starting centre

I know nothing.

But perhaps this is for the best. He doesn't miss too many games. He's now playing full games in the halves, origin, kangaroos, finals, world cups.

I reckon he just needs to get away from the game for a while.

Cause he hasn’t had more then a 6 week break since Feb last year ...

25 Home and away games
3 state or origin
Anzac test
2 finals
Grand Final
4 nations
6 week break straight into pre season
WCC
CamJT testimonial
24 Home and away games
3 State or origin
Anzac test
2 Finals
Grand Final

Maybe he just needs a rest

Wait till Keary has done the same amount of games and see how he feels after 2 years ...my bet he would want a break too

Really happy for Brandon to get the starting hooker job for the Kiwis. He will do a fine job. Hopefully he gets a chance to take some scoots out of DH with a retreating Roo defensive line.

Doesn't feel like a Test match though with no Slater, GI, Thurston, Judas or Smith... My main hope is that our guys play really well (and avoid injury).
