They also COULD get a tap on the shoulder by NRL HQ (who ultimately pay the bills) to get an outcome they are after, but I don't think I am that cynical (just yet).

Administrative and judicial bodies need to follow law that is prescribed...

if the judiciary start to reinvent the definitions in order adjudicate it on their own "gut feel" then they run the risk of an 'error in law" scenario.

the problem is that this theory relates to actual prescribed law (ie passed by Parliaments)...NRL laws are defined/written by themselves as a peak body..so I am not sure whether they can "err in law"...

In the media leading up to the game there seems to be a lot of respect shown by both teams which is very refreshing from the shit storm we had prior to the prelim final.

For example, both Latrell Mitchell and Will Chambers have discussed the respect for each other's game and Chambers even admittedly said he hasnt got the wood over Latrell yet.

I hate the hostility the media spins up each year. This is feeling much more of a contest between two great teams compared to previous years and games of late.

Well said nacho. Hopefully people can look forward to a quality GF. Much like the ones from 2017, 2012, 2009, 2007 and 1999!

Roosters playing games with their GF team :roll:

I assume Matterson will come in to 5/8 and Keary to play halfback. I doubt they play O'Sullivan in the GF with one game of run on experience.

Either way, this bodes very well for us as long as our forwards match theirs.

Rooters 1-5 is still a great line up and I think they will be running hard in Cronks absence

Is this the first time this season that we've named our strongest 1-17 on the Tuesday? Fingers crossed no changes are required

We should have named;

Munster at 1
Hughes at 6
Slater at 19

Just to screw with them.

It's ridiculous that our showcase game of the season will have Mitch Aubusson wearing the number 7. Bit of a joke really.
