Seems to be plenty of traction to this and looks like it's going to happen. I think it's fair to say that most of us fans (and those at the club) just thought it was a no brainer he took over when Bellyache finished up.

Apparently it's for family reasons but I can't see him taking over the reins at the Rorters anytime soon, that said there'll be no shortage of clubs lining top for his services as a head coach soon enough.

Wow the recruitment of Munster starts already. He's as good as gone.

Apparently the Roosters have $1.5 million left in their cap

Is that before or after they sign SBW?

No surprise he'll look to go home - I would have been surprised if he stayed to continue as assistant.

If the Siebold to Broncos stories have any basis, then there might be a position at Souths opening up. Penrith also of course, St George allegedly looking at Bennett so if they don't land him, Mary might still go... there's a bit of a coaching merry go round to play out at the end of the year I think

Would be a great experience for Adam. This wouldn't rule out him coming back to Melbourne when Craig finishes. He may have some broader experience to bring to the role after spending some time with the chooks.

Given it's for family reasons, you can begrudge the guy.
Definitely a loss for us though.

He has said so. If that - plus 11 years of diligent service to the club - isn't good enough for you then I don't know what will be.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately

Just because he is leaving doesn’t mean he won’t come back to be Head Coach after Bellamy leaves...maybe he just wants to see what it’s like under someone else before taking the reigns of storm in a couple of years

I'd be very surprised if he isn't a head coach elsewhere before Bellyache finishes up
