Round 22 - Storm vs Sharks
So that excuses Chambers’ idiot kick?Deadpool wrote:Chambers kicks on 2nd and gets the f-U treatment, then it’s all dead silence when Chambers sets up Vunivalu for the try and again when Slater kicks on 2nd
No, I’m not defending the kick. Just pointing out some of the hypocrisy here when it comes to Chambersyourhero wrote:So that excuses Chambers’ idiot kick?Deadpool wrote:Chambers kicks on 2nd and gets the f-U treatment, then it’s all dead silence when Chambers sets up Vunivalu for the try and again when Slater kicks on 2nd
Only player having a red hot crack today is Addo-Carr, the rest have seriously been poor or average at best, I’m a big fan of him there but Hughes needs to do more as the half-back, and our forwards need to fire up, only Bromwich is earning a pay up front today, why we won’t play Brandon Smith I’ll never know, he always lifts us with his directness and energy, big mistake omitting him today. Can’t see us winning this at all, Sharks to paste us hopefully and wake us up before September.
I was just gob smacked that Chambers passed.Deadpool wrote:Chambers kicks on 2nd and gets the f-U treatment, then it’s all dead silence when Chambers sets up Vunivalu for the try and again when Slater kicks on 2nd
Billy's kick wasn't brilliant, but it almost worked - just bounced away from Suli. Chambers kick was just rubbish.
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
We go too sideways down our edges and it leaves Chambers feeling like his only option is to kick. That one might be his worst decision considering it was only the 2nd tackle of a 7 tackle set.
This game has been who we are this season. No direction. And when we create chances we either make an error or over force our hand. We were starting to get well on top before they scored their 2nd.

NAS needs to learn how to start or revert back to the bench. He is only getting three or so runs in his first stint which is nowhere near enough.
With the exception of Jesse, our starting forwards aren’t having much of an impact. Then we replace them and have no impact from the bench at all.
