Friday 3rd August
7:55pm
ANZ Stadium

Top of the table clash with the Rabbitohs.

We are coming off the hiding we gave Canberra. The Bunnies, a 6 point win against the Eels. The Eels stayed true to their 2018 form and sh*t the bed big time, collapsing and conceding 3 tries in 9 minutes, when they should have had a definitive win.

As we have seen all year though, form means sweet f all, last week is forgotten and this week is a new week. If you want two points, you better show up ready to fight for them because in 2018, nothing comes cheap.

Rabbitohs line-up the last two weeks;

1. Alex Johnston
2. Campbell Graham
3. Hymel Hunt
4. Dane Gagai
5. Robert Jennings
6. Cody Walker
7. Adam Reynolds
8. Thomas Burgess
9. Damien Cook
10. George Burgess
11. John Sutton
12. Angus Crichton
13. Sam Burgess

14. Adam Doueihi
15. Cameron Murray
16. Jason Clark
17. Tevita Tatola

Pretty solid line-up. Strong starting forward pack. Bench isn’t great and can see the edges being exploited once we earn the right up the middle.

Rabbits were pretty bad against the Eels last week. If we can start strong like we have been in recent games then hopefully we could hold on to the lead through the game.

I reckon at some stage; the refs will make an example of us re penalties.

We need to do what we do best.

Definitely feels like the kinda game where we start on the back foot for many different reasons and can't get ourselves into the game.

With how often they go down their left edge, Suli is going to have to make a lot of decisions defensively that I am very much not looking forward to.

Yeah your right blazza18, coaching staff should be focusing on Suli to just mark his man ... A man on man defensive game for Suli, the Storm team are that good they always have players cross covering. Suli should never feel the need to come in at all, unless he makes the read that he can make the sure spot tackle. Fingers cross he plays another cracker of a game.

FRIENDS TURN RIVALS WITH TOP SPOT ON THE LINE
IT was high and rare praise from one coach to a rival just four days from what shapes as rugby league’s game of the season.Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy offered a glowing compliment to the man he will directly oppose this Friday night — South Sydney coach

MELBOURNE Storm will be at full strength for Friday night’s top-of-the-table showdown against South Sydney, with veteran Ryan Hoffman set to return

I mean we could be at full strength if another player returns too. Annoys me when people who cover the game ignore players they don't know.

That statement contradicts itself.

It means we can pick from a full strength squad and we chose to pick Ryan Hoffman over Stimson.

We haven't played the Sydney Olympic Stadium since our last Grand Final win.

Does 'full strength' mean Kasiano is back?

It says Sam is out till Round 25 so we are not at full strength.Sam Kasiano (Knee, Round 25) ...

Sam could be a useful extra bonus come finals time
