Saturday 14th July
5:30pm
Sh*thole/Lottoland

Return of our Origin players (pending who backs up).
Halfback?

Still riding the high of the win against St Merge, I am excited for this one already.

Reckon they might manage NAS's time a bit. Has had an enormous workload recently. I reckon they start Welch and Glasby, with NAS coming off the bench.

Hopefully Felise and Finucane are OK as I'd expect Stimson to miss unfortunately.

The halfback decision is tough!! Hughes was outstanding - Croft brilliant on return (stiff to get stripped for the try - great play by Aitken! but he did a huge job getting back in field) and Jacks had one of his better games. I think he's a running 6 rather than a half.

Jacks' is the best one-on-one defender out of the three, but his defensive decision making last night wasn't crash hot and cost us a couple of tries.

Croft probably gets the nod being a "true" halfback but geez it will be rough leaving Hughes out after what he has shown... See who backs up I guess. He may get another run.

I thought Albert Vete was real good last night.

Big body, runs hard and can defend.

Another one off the production line.

Albert will be real good for us as we seem to cop a new injury each week

Craig has said; he wont leave Hughes out under any circumstances

So that means someone else will miss if Croft plays also.

Where did he say that?

He didn't say that - he said we reward form and effort, and that's why he couldn't leave Hughes out.

Nowhere did he say he won't be left out under any circumstances

Cameron posts like no one else reads or watches anything.

NAS will probably get a rest at some stage. Finucane maybe back for this? Wouldn't be shocked if all rep players bar Glasby get the week off.

With Slater having had the month off with the hamstring, I don't think they'll feel the need to rest him, but definitely a see how he pulls up and we have the benefit of being able to err on the side of caution if he's sore.

Dale must be close to back surely - on last night too, have to love that Welch and NAS were so good up front. Props don't hit their peak until mid 20s normally - so that's a great thought!

NAS is made of titanium

He doesn't need to rest.

He just needs to hit.

Again and Again.

Did you see what Welsch did to Grahams nose.

BANG!

Depending on how JAC and Chambers pull up Cheese may get another go next week. He did a good job for us last night.

Your major issue with him is preventing you from being reasonable or objective. He was very good again, in limited opportunities.

2 Tries
11 Runs for 145 metres
2 Line Breaks
3 Tackle Breaks
11 Tackles
0 Missed Tackles

Not sure what more he could do to impress you.

Cheyse had a real good game

They quality of the opposition could be queried but his game was super.

You can only beat what is put infront of you.
