Can’t wait for the NRL Vic awards on Sat (the president at my club is also nominated for the volunteer award so I’m excited for her) I’ll update you guys on who wins cause I’m going

If Harry Sio doesn’t win then nrl vic are crazy I know Haley Finau has been good but he missed a fair few week injured and Harry dominated all the comps he played in

As for the women it has to be Najvada George she is awesome she literally just got picked to play for Australia in PNG the prime minister 13 game coming up

Any reason given for the change back after four years? I thought I remembered it as a NSWRL decision to exclude us.

Well with the NRL Victoria junior sides competing in the CRL Champs, and with the CRL merging with the NSWRL, it was an obvious decision to switch from the QRL.

Itzbek the NSWRL brought in a rule that if your reserve grade team wasn't in NSW Cup that you couldn't play your junior teams in NSWRL competitions. This rule was brought in because Canberra and Manly had their reserve grade teams in Qld.

This is why we aligned with the Sharks in NSW Cup for a number of years. The NSWRL must have relaxed the rules.

There were efforts a few years ago that we would have a NSW Cup team based in Albury - Albury Thunder. I am not sure what happened to that plan.
