An interesting where are they now this week. Beau Champion was a good player, just totally injury plagued (11 seasons for only 107 games over four clubs - including two stints at Souths) and could hardly string games together towards the end of it. His only year at the Storm in 2011 was definitely his best - 16 games and 8 tries in a team that made the prelim final that year.

Glad he still has a fondness for the place. I was never a huge fan of his on-field work but glad that he is happy post-retirement and found a new career.

It is interesting that he talks about his fondness of the Storm because at the end of his first season he couldn't seem to get out of her quick enough.
