Sunshine Coast Falcons 26 defeated Souths Logan Magpies 18

Easts Tigers 20 defeated Townsville Blackhawks 16

Brodie Croft injured his hamstring.

So the Falcons will play the Tigers next week.

Falcons win 26-22. Great season, Easts.

According to QRL Website, Brandon Smith played 71 minutes for Falcons. Great news. If he pulls up ok, he has another game next week.

Huge Storm representation .

Falcons- Hughes, Stimson, Drinkwater, Jacks, Olam, Kamikamica, Hawkins, Smith, Geraghty ( though unclear if Louis actually got on the park , according to QRL live)

Tigers- Rochow, Myles, Nichols, Tonumaipea , Galo( though Charlie may only have played 6 minutes , so query if he has reinjured the knee he tweaked a few weeks ago).

QRL Live has live interchange info, but it seems to suggest both teams did not make the full 8 interchanges - which seems unlikely - so I am not sure it is 100% accurate.

Smith had a HIA, and Galo hurt his knee again. Falcons will need to fix their slow start and discipline again.

So sad for Easts but so happy as well..I'm sure Galo was on the end though

I hope the Falcons beat Redcliffe I can't stand them

The same 9 Storm players as last week are selected for the Falcons this weekend - Hughes, Olam, Hawkins, Drinkwater, Jacks, Kamikamica, Stimson, Smith and Geraghty. Good luck, lads.

No Jahrome Hughes in the prelim and it just hurt them on Redcliffe's first try.

Sooo proud right now ....told the boys on Tuesday they had to smash Redcliffe they did it literally ...so happy that they eliminated Redcliffe and Matt Lodge
