Wow. If this is how soft Greenberg goes on salary cap cheats can you imagine how soft he'll be on players caught in the alleged match fixing investigation.

Good to see they took the points differntial of them too. Still, at 14th and with enough wins they could still make it

They took away the points they scored BUT also the points scored against them. Ridiculous . They should have been deemed to have lost the matches 18-0 ( or whatever the opposition scored on the day ).

If they get Hayne back this year the whole thing is a F&^%%&D and the NRL need to be aware of the perception it will give.
Even is technically they get under the cap by releasing Foran.
And on another note, if it is true the player were receiving Cash that is a little different to running 2 sets of books, surely when the boss hands you a cash payment you know its not on the books in any business.

I am very proud of the way Storm as a club handled 2010. Instead of imploding they steeled together and didn`t waste the season, they played for a purpose and raised $150,000 for charity.I have never for one minute waivered in my support of Storm.
corruptamatta on the other are incredibly stupid. They got smacked by a feather from the nrl and opposition supporters are going soft on them compared to what our Club, team and us as fans copped. I think they have done more damage to the nrl brand than Storm ever has.
We have the best coach in rugby league, best captain, well best everything

+1 stormy. I wonder if the reason opposition fans are going soft on them is because Parra never achieved anything in all their years of cheating. On the other hand it's very easy to be bitter and envious about the storm because as you say we have the best coach, captain, everything.

100% agree stormy...we got a way worse punishment but in the end the team stuck together and no one left till the end of the year
