Matt Duffie to Auckland Blues Rugby Union
I think Bellamy would've told him to make the best decision for himself and family.
He is moving closer to family youd think so I say good on him and it is dissapointing but hope he kills it because Auckland have been terrible since the early 2000's.

Very confused, frank was very confident in retaining Duffie a few weeks back, I bet his pissed off
Not surprised not totally unhappy either
I think his injurys are behind him now so I'm happy for him to go where ever
A few years ago storm tried to offload him and he got injured and they had to keep him think we lost Gareth widdop instead
Plus u don't know how he has been with out family for two year in rehab ... Maybe it's just time he went home

best of luck to Duff man
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
I've no issue with him moving on to most likely more coin. I'm sure the club offered him another contract but not overly lucrative given his injury history (and rightly so) The poor bugger is made of glass unfortunately and has only just turned 25 so he needs to get as much behind him money wise while he can. Always been a fan of the Duffman so again lets send him off with a premiership and while i'm no fan of union at all i hope he goes on to have a long and successful career in the code.

Very sad to see him go. His bat-back against Tupou on the weekend was sensational. Not many other players get up that high. I was really looking forward to watching him have a full season next year. All the best to him. He's certainly been through a lot and deserves some good fortune.
